ARTIST'S DESCRIPTION
This #MRasheedCartoons image was inspired as the response to a cartoon by an artist pandering to the middling white racist crowd, coddling the “just being white will be a hate crime!” nonsense. To be clear, “racism” as we know it in the West was birthed when the enslaved Black Africans were permanently delegated to a chattel bondsman class, which created a “white racist aristocracy” by default. Formal slave codes and later black codes were created designed to strictly enforce the second class/bottom caste position of Black Americans which influenced the culture at every level. When slavery was finally abolished the second-class citizenship status was enforced anyway – why? Because whites benefited from slavery as an economic system, since businesses didn’t have to pay worker salaries, the white racist aristocracy pocketed the wealth that would have normally accrued for Black American inheritance over the generations. When slavery was abolished, whites resented that they had to give up that slave class revenue and even treat the freedmen as societal equals, competing against them in the markets! So second-class citizenship was imposed upon them so whites could continue to exploit the group.

When white complain and reject the idea of finally paying Reparations to Black Americans to rightfully return their inheritance wealth and make them economically whole after generations of abuse, this is the background that fuels their greedy ire. The very idea that “just being white will be a hate crime!” implies that the Reparatory Justice debt has been paid, we are all now economically equal, and the “SJWs” are just being mean and picking on white people for nothing. Of course, this narrative is a blatant lie, quite on brand to the character of the author.
