Sean Linen - Or perhaps systematic racism and the evils of capitalism could be...linked somehow?

Muhammad Rasheed - They are linked by the fact that there are cartels of evil people doing evil shit and getting away with it because they've usurped government & industry as their personal playgrounds.

The "evils of capitalism" are unscrupulous people performing evil actions while during business. Their favorite is tearing down capitalism and forming a 1% monopolist class plutocracy.

Owen R. Broadhurst - Imagine thinking a capitalist regime is the least bit interested in genuine antitrust measures. Yet, I suppose ableist invective is much easier than actually grasping the nature to that

Muhammad Rasheed - There is no "capitalist regime." There is only the 1% grifter monopolist class that built its wealth by closing off the competitive free open markets and hoarding the wealth of industry for themselves. Capitalism had been dead for some time now.

Owen R. Broadhurst - That is inherently conspiricist claptrap, and you are not a leftist

Muhammad Rasheed - Owen wrote: "That is inherently conspiricist claptrap..."

Actually it's the informed opinion of the antitrust advocate.

Owen wrote: "and you are not a leftist"

My strict anti-racism, pro-Black American position labels me firmly on the leftist side. I don't make the rules.

Jackie Max Morey - Aren't anti-trust laws a form of socialism? Isn't this agit-prop self contradictory?

Muhammad Rasheed - Antitrust are competition laws designed to prevent the most successful companies from tking over an industry by merging and colluding, etc., and shutting down the competitive free markets which will increase unemployment and cause the wealth of nations to bottleneck at the 1% class' selfish Whitopia hoards.

It can be considered a form of socialism since it does protect the populace from the greed-fueled ambitions of the diabolical few.

Jackie Max Morey - Idk, sounds like if you put limitations on the market its not really "free." Sounds like capitalism can only exist via the oppression of others

Muhammad Rasheed- The term "free market" means a very specific thing inside of that economic system. Interpreting it in different ways based on the literal meaning of the component parts of the terminology outside of that system's definition of the term appears disengenous.

Any human system can be overran by the diabolical, greed-fueled few if the system isn't protected to prevent such things. It's odd to place the blame on the system instead of the greedy men though.
