CITATION
Rasheed, Muhammad. "Blindly Voting Blue versus True Political Engagement & Voting Strategy." Cartoon. The Official Website of Cartoonist M. Rasheed 05 Sep 2020. Pen & ink w/Adobe Photoshop color.

Hershel Lewis - So that means your a trump supporter because non vote is one less person to get trump out. Great tactic wrong space.

Muhammad Rasheed - Hershel wrote: "So that means your a trump supporter..."

lol No, it doesn't mean that. It means that as the Democratic Party's most loyal constituency, I have the right to use radical activism to force my party to listen when they have consistently ignored my #BlackAgenda for so long, that it literally doesn't matter to my ethnic group whether a white male Democrat is in office or a white male Republican is in office. They have put me in the position that I have to use an extreme voting strategy boycott for my group to get what we need from our government to thrive.

Hershel wrote: "...because non vote is one less person to get trump out."

That's 100% not my problem. If they don't want Trump in office and need to use my vote, then commit to Reparations and my agenda. Period.

Hershel wrote: "Great tactic"

I know.

Hershel wrote: "wrong space."

The space is the United States of America which is my country.

Hershel Lewis - “Hershel wrote your a stolen african just like the rest of us.” “Hershel wrote this post is in full support of Donald J Trump.....Because by boycotting the voting processes doesn’t get yo u what you want and is illogical there is no benefit in doing it” “Hershel said posting in the group full of comic book folks doesn’t push your agenda. It’s a stone thrown into a empty void . “Hershel said the people running for president aren’t here to hear your boycott.

Hershel Lewis - You should run for president and fight for reparations

Muhammad Rasheed - Hershel wrote: "your a stolen african just like the rest of us.”

So? Are you saying I don't have the right to fight for my ethnic group's long denied Reparatory Justice debt and long neglected political agenda? Why?

Hershel wrote: "this post is in full support of Donald J Trump.."

It's clearly not.

Hershel wrote: "Because by boycotting the voting processes doesn’t get yo u what you want..."

Are you God that you magically know the unseen future with certainty? lol My job as a US citizen is to use the tools at my disposal to work the system in my political identity group's favor. You're insisting that I shoudn't do it. Why?

Hershel wrote: "and is illogical there is no benefit in doing it”

There's no benefit for YOU. For me I'll get my Reparations and economic inclusion which is my birthright.

Hershel wrote: "posting in the group full of comic book folks doesn’t push your agenda."

There are politically astute people among comic fans. My comic happens to be political in nature. It doesn't matter if you like it or not.

Hershel wrote: "It’s a stone thrown into a empty void ."

Your politically biased and cynical opinions lack interest to me.

Hershel wrote: "the people running for president aren’t here to hear your boycott."

They don't need to be. They'll see my boycott when I vote Democratic Party down ballot.

Muhammad Rasheed - Hershel wrote: "you should run for president and fight for reparations"

The 1% monopolists rigged the system to need millions of dollars to even run for POTUS. I don't have that. Your advice is illogical and poorly thought out.

Hershel Lewis - So you making comic strips is suppose to fight the power maybe I should join you?

Muhammad Rasheed - It's not my fault you're ignorant and don't understand the power of art as a social activist weapon of awareness/change.

Hershel Lewis - Yeah but you look like an idiot that nobody is listening too I look at a lot of your post I’m literally the only one that takes out the time with you like this.....good luck at the poles....hell I want reparations too. I just don’t see how bad cartoon strips is going to effect change as a small voice that nobody is listening too. I completely reject your message and I’m atleast talking to you.

Muhammad Rasheed - Hershel wrote: "yeah but you look like this idiot that nobody is listening too..."

So because you personally don't see my engagements within the confines of this small group, it means there's no engagement at all and no one is noticing the messaging? 🤨

Hershel wrote: "I look at a lot of your post I’m literally the only one that takes out the time with you like this..."

The very fact that you are alwys this triggered means that my message is exactly as effective as you say it isn't. People are just shy and would rather lurk.

Hershel wrote: "good luck at the poles..."

Work at the voting polls is a long-game. 50+ yrs of toxic "Integration" disenfranchisement probably won't be fixed in a single presidential election cycle, so I'm focused on getting the message out there and recruiting bodies for our increased political capital.

Hershel wrote: "hell I want reparations too."

Irrelevant. You may ask of whichever government wronged your people.

Hershel wrote: "I just don’t see how bad cartoon strips is going to effect change as a small voice that nobody is listening too."

Haters don't see a lot of things. Their vision and understanding is often clouded by bitter emotions. You'll just have to learn to live with it, bud.

Hershel wrote: "I completely reject your message and I’m atleast talking to you."

You're talking AT me, with value only in the fact that if there is one of you, then there are many more too scared to say anything in public.
