Rasheed, Muhammad. "What's Good for the Goose." Cartoon. The Official Website of Cartoonist M. Rasheed 03 Sep 2020. Pen & ink w/Adobe Photoshop color.

Q: What's wrong with the term "white privilege?"

Muhammad Rasheed - The reason why white people have a mini-tantrum over terms like “white privilege” and “white entitlement” is because their propaganda arm has spent a lot of time normalizing their special interest group so that their carefully controlled mass media and institutions project whites as the default setting of a human. Everyone else is considered ‘other.’ So any talk that has the effect of roughly pulling that flimsy curtain aside to reveal the truth — white people are NOT the default human, they are in fact just another rival political identity group and they’ve used the obscene profits amassed from 400 yrs of exploiting and plundering the Black American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS) to usurp control of government and industry so they can continue to hoard wealth and rule for themselves — tends to cause a seizure-like cognitive dissonance episode.

To be clear, any and all economic advantages that white people enjoy as an identity group comes not from meritorious hard work and effort, but from refusing to share wealth, land and rule with the Black American former slave class so that they as a group can conitine to strut about through the land as faux lords by continuing the discriminatory racist practices that first created the white racist aristocracy. Our society was first divided along racial lines back in the early 1600s when the enslaved Africans were permanently delegated to the bondsman class, and we’ve been a racially divided society ever since with only white people themselves and their jealously guarded artificial high caste status as the barrier preventing America from living up to its highest ideals.

James Henry – The term “white privilege” is divisive.

Muhammad Rasheed - wow

James Henry - I agree

Muhammad Rasheed - lol I don’t think you do. The nation has been viciously racially divided continuously since 1619. Calling out the nature of white caste benefits isn’t divisive. You must at least first close the divide, which whites have viciously refused to do.

James Henry - Really? What divide is there? What do whites have that blacks don’t have? Oh right, a much much much higher rate of suicide.

Muhammad Rasheed - James wrote: “Really?”

Yes.

James wrote: “What divide is there?”

The one created when white people refused to share wealth, land & rule with the Black American former slave class, repealed Reconstruction and replaced it with forced jim crow segregation and convict leasing. After the 1964 Civil Rights Act was passed, jim crow was repealed, but the dial on convict leasing was cranked up to 11, creating the current mass incarcerate state that preys upon Black men. The result of all of this is the infamous racial wealth gap that stole our multi-generational legacy wealth and locks Black Americans out of access to capital, credit and the wealth-building ownership class, continuing the racist caste system first established during the chattel slave era.

James wrote: “What do whites have that blacks don’t have?”

The amassed wealth and rule of the usurped government and industry they hoard. There is $110 trillion dollars in American household wealth — white people hoard 90% of it while the Black American descendants of slavery only control 2.6% of it, with the majority of that in illiquid Baby Boomer assets (reduced since the Great Recession mortgage crisis).

James wrote: “Oh right, a much much much higher rate of suicide.”

Get rid of anti-Black systemic racism (for real this time) and you’ll feel better. I promise.

James Henry - #1 That’s not a divide. I grew up without any of that shared wealth and such.

#2 Again, I didn’t have that amassed wealth growing up. The house I grew up in my parents bought because it was condemned. Group wealth isn’t individual wealth.

#3 There is no anti-black systemic racism. Believing otherwise is foolish and racist.

I’m sorry if your life sucked growing up because you’re black, but don’t try to blame your unhappiness on me.

Muhammad Rasheed - James wrote: “#1 That’s not a divide.”

Based on what? Magic? The racism divide has always been economic in nature.

James wrote: “I grew up without any of that shared wealth and such.”

Irrelevant. The nature of the divide is political group versus political group, not individual vs individual. lol You are committing what is called the “anecdotal logical fallacy” and it has no place in a political discussion. It means you are unprepared to argue the subject.

James wrote: “#2 Again, I didn’t have that amassed wealth growing up.”

The median wealth of the average poor white family is $17,000 while the median wealth of the average Black family is $200.

James wrote: “Group wealth isn’t individual wealth.”

(see: anecdotal logical fallacy)

James wrote: “#3 There is no anti-black systemic racism.”

Based on what? Magic? lol You don’t know enough about this topic and your responses are only backed by the emotions of kneejerk defensiveness.

James wrote: “Believing otherwise is foolish and racist.”

lol Believing otherwise means I’m actually informed on the topic. Allow me to help you: Systemic racism is when white people collude to usurp government and industry, controlling all gates of entry into wealth-building systems. Even though discriminating against Black people has been illegal since slavery was abolished, whites control these gates of entry specifically so that they can get away with the illegal practice by agreeing not to persecute one another so that they maintain dominant rule. That is the nature of anti-Black systemic racism and it has not changed in function since the 1600s.

How Systemic Racism Works

James wrote: “…but don’t try to blame your unhappiness on me.”

lol Why would I do that since I don’t know you personally? I don’t live in anecdotal logical fallacies. I blame the white racist aristocracy as a group for subjugating my people for continued exploitation and plunder — the group who has usurped government and industry to hoard the benefits of amassed wealth & rule for yourselves alone. Deliberately ignoring the anti-racism laws to lock my ethnic group out of access to American-ness is evil, and even though the poor whites don’t enjoy the largest percentage of anti-Black racism’s economic benefits, you certainly enjoy enough of the pie to use domestic terror and police brutality to fight tooth & nail to maintain the white supremacist system on your group’s behalf.

James Henry - You know what? It doesn’t matter. The “divide” could be 100% real, but white privilege is a really really stupid way to every bridge the divide. Because like it or not using that word is going to alienate way more than it will enlighten.

Or do you think telling people living on welfare that they are privileged is a good idea? How about people who are on the edge of suicide? Will this help them recover and suddenly be a better person? No. It won’t do any of those things.

But it’s not about fixing things. It’s about acting like children and blaming others for your own problems. We have equality in the U.S. Black people can and do succeed every damn day. But hey, I’m white, right? So what do I know. Ok fine. I’ll let “black people” speak for me.

Muhammad Rasheed - James wrote: “You know what? It doesn’t matter.”

Of course it matters. It’s literally the difference between staying racially divided versus living up to the nation’s highest ideals. How does it not matter?

James wrote: “The ‘divide’ could be 100% real…”

It is real. You need to start filling your brain pan up with something other than Rick & Morty episodes.

James wrote: “…but white privilege is a really really stupid way to every bridge the divide.”

I’m the group who has been deliberately terrorized, abused and exploited for several centuries to enable whites to live like faux-lords in their Whitopia, but you think I should care about hurting your feelings because of my choice of wording? Are you serious right now?

James wrote: “Because like it or not using that word is going to alienate way more than it will enlighten.”

My people are the wealthless bottom caste in this country we built, but you think I should care that my traditional enemy feels “alienated” or not because I point out the nature of his caste system based benefits.

James wrote: “Or do you think telling people living on welfare that they are privileged is a good idea?”

To be clear, are we still talking about the same people who invented “welfare queen” propaganda to disparage my people and call us lazy all the time?

James wrote: “How about people who are on the edge of suicide?”

End anti-Black systemic racism and I promise you’ll feel better.

James wrote: “But it’s not about fixing things. It’s about acting like children and blaming others for your own problems.”

My problems literally come from white people using the obscene profits amassed from slavery and jim crow to force my people into a wealthless bottom caste state ripe for continued exploitation. Whenever we’ve tried to break free of this over the last 150 yrs, the dominant group burned down our communities and even whole towns with domestic terror tactics.

James wrote: “We have equality in the U.S.”

We have legal equality on the books, but anti-Black systemic racism in functional practice.

James wrote: “Black people can and do succeed every damn day.”

Miniscule individual successes (we only control 2.6% of national household wealth and the MAJORITY of that is in Baby Boomer illiquid assets, remember?) are not the same as group success. I’m pretty sure you pointed that out yourself in an earlier post. lol

James wrote: “But hey, I’m white, right? So what do I know.”

You are unprepared to discuss this topic and are woefully and embarrassingly led by emotion.

James wrote: “Ok fine. I’ll let ‘black people’ speak for me.”

It will suffice if you just got out of our way for once so we can finally be economically included into society to enjoy the equality long denied us.

James Henry – M. Rasheed wrote: “Of course it matters. It’s literally the difference between staying racially divided versus living up to the nation’s highest ideals. How does it not matter?”

You aren’t living up to the nations ideals. You’re tearing them down. Turning brother against brother.

M. Rasheed wrote: “I’m the group who has been deliberately terrorized, abused and exploited for several centuries...”

You’re the group? You’re several centuries old? Nope. You’re just a dude. Like me. Human. Everyone has been exploited. Get over yourself.

M. Rasheed wrote: “My people are the wealthless bottom caste in this country we built”

My people have no wealth either. It’s only in your deluded mind that skin color determines your caste. There are more poor white folk than poor black folk, but you only care about group dynamics. Individuals mean nothing to you. Which means people mean nothing to you.

M. Rasheed wrote: “To be clear, are we still talking about the same people who invented ‘welfare queen’ propaganda to disparage my people and call us lazy all the time?”

I don’t know who you are talking about. I was talking about the millions of white people living in poverty on welfare.

M. Rasheed wrote: “End anti-Black systemic racism and I promise you’ll feel better.”

This has been ended. The system is against racism. The system forbids racism.

M. Rasheed wrote: “We have legal equality on the books, but anti-Black systemic racism in functional practice.”

Lies. There are plenty of rich black people running their own businesses. Are they all anti-black racists too?

M. Rasheed wrote: “You are unprepared to discuss this topic and are woefully and embarrassingly led by emotion.”

You haven’t presented any real arguments yet. Prove the divide is real beyond your platitudes and self victimization.

M. Rasheed wrote: “It will suffice if you just got out of our way for once so we can finally be economically included into society to enjoy the equality long denied us.”

How am I in your way?

Muhammad Rasheed - James wrote: “You aren’t living up to the nations ideals.”

Oh? I’m currently joined with like-minded members of my ethnic group to pressure my political party into committing to my long-neglected Black Political Agenda in the time-honored American tradition of political engagement. It’s new for our generation since the white liberals conspired to disenfranchise and further impoverish us throughout the so-called “Integration” era, but we’re aware of the deceit now and are actively working to reverse the damage. Why do you think I’m not living up to our ideals? Because I used a phrase you didn’t like? lol

James wrote: “You’re tearing them down.”

I’m tearing down the nation’s ideals when they were deliberately withheld from me for centuries by your racial group? Explain, please.

James wrote: “Turning brother against brother.”

???

What “brothers” am I turning against each other, James? Mind you, in this very thread you are literally telling me that my ethnic group’s very real experience in our own country is all in our heads. Surely you’re not calling me your “brother” with that behavior?

James wrote: “You’re the group? You’re several centuries old? Nope.”

My ethnic group is the Black American descendants of slavery. We’re literally 400 yrs old as tracked from our arrival in North America through the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade..

James wrote: “You’re just a dude. Like me.”

Like you, I’m a representative of my group in a political discussion.

James wrote: “Human.”

White people only play the “colorless human/I-don’t-see-race” card when they are in denial of their centuries old atrocities. It’s not a good look. It’s cowardly.

James wrote: “Everyone has been exploited. Get over yourself.”

Well, the difference here is that my group has been continuously exploited and my rival group is currently pretending his hands are clean while he’s still exploiting me. Also not a good look.

James wrote: “My people have no wealth either.”

The median wealth for poor whites is $17,000 while the median wealth for all Black Americans of the former slave class is $200.

James wrote: “It’s only in your deluded mind that skin color determines your caste.”

The “white/black” caste system was invented by your racial group during the chattel slave era. It’s odd how you seem to be trying to put it on me when I’m certainly not the one who benefited from that evil. That’s pretty sneaky.

James wrote: “There are more poor white folk than poor black folk…”

The median wealth of the average POOR black is zero.

James wrote: “…but you only care about group dynamics.”

Politics is all about group dynamics (that’s what it’s for) and literally nobody is less indifferent about group dynamics than the group that first permanently enslaved me as chattel, initiated the bloodiest war in American history to expand slavery and get richer, repealed Reconstruction, forced jim crow upon me, and then created mass incarceration to continue to milk the free slave labor of Black people up into the modern day so he can continue to live like a fake lord on earth in the evilest “group dynamic” in history. That’s you.

James wrote: “Individuals mean nothing to you.”

Politics isn’t about individuals, it’s about the collective interest group’s socio-economic uplift. I don’t know you at all personally so your individuality is irrelevant in this discussion. You don’t seem to have ever debated before.

James wrote: “Which means people mean nothing to you.”

You know you are from the exact same racial group that enslaved MY people, right? lol

James wrote: “I don’t know who you are talking about. I was talking about the millions of white people living in poverty on welfare.”

I know. Your people invented the propaganda marketing concept of “welfare queen” to make fun of my people on welfare while you are here trying to make me feel sorry for your group for being on welfare. You don’t find that weird, hypocritical & ironic?

James wrote: “This has been ended. The system is against racism. The system forbids racism.”

My ethnic group fought hard to get civil rights laws passed to LEGALLY end racism, but your people refused to share power & rule precisely so you could ignore those laws and keep up your racist practices on the systemic level without consequence. That’s evil.

James wrote: “Lies.”

lol It’s actually very true. Barack Obama isn’t even from my ethnic group as a biracial Kenyan-American, but just the fact that he was black made white people go crazy in fear that he was going to force you to share wealth, land & rule with us — that insane fear created the Tea Party. You were literally willing to destroy the whole country to keep from relinquishing your precious systemic racism cartels. smdh

James wrote: “There are plenty of rich black people running their own businesses.”

Most of them function on a low level because the systemic racist barrier locks them out of access to capital and credit needed to thrive and compete on the high level. Few of them can even afford employees, and when the systemic racist cartels collude to violate antitrust, these illegal corporate mergers monopolize markets and severely cripple Black micro-businesses that were barely holding on in the first place.

James wrote: “Are they all anti-black racists too?”

Often the Black immigrants are, unfortunately.

James wrote: “You haven’t presented any real arguments yet.”

Sure, I have, You just prefer to hold onto your uninformed prejudices about the topic because to focus on the truth head-on makes you feel suicidal. I’m telling you there’s a better way to deal with that than your pet self-delusion that’s clearly not serving you.

James wrote: “Prove the divide is real...”

If I post links will you even read the articles to gain something of substance to increase the weight of your side of the argument? Did you even read the last link I posted?

James wrote: “…beyond your platitudes and self victimization”

Ironic considering you’re the one who keeps bringing up welfare and suicide to get me to feel sorry for you. Do you even proofread these?

James wrote: “How am I in your way?”

Whites in general have routinely deliberately sabotaged the Black American’s efforts at economic progress over the last 150 yrs. Your demographic in specific is recruited to be the slave takers, slave breakers, overseers, bounty hunters, lynch mobs, hate groups, correctional officers and police. None of the crap we’ve had to deal with would have been possible if it wasn’t for your willing support of a figure who SHOULD be our mutual enemy, but you’ve always enjoyed the prestige of “whiteness” over economic enhancement if it meant I was always fiercely supplanted underneath your group as a caste. Because of this history, you may as well stop trying to get me to feel sorry for you. There’s a lot of bad blood here that you enthusiastically and proudly created yourself.

James Henry - You know what. Go ahead and live in your world. Goodbye.
