CITATION
Rasheed, Muhammad. "Protecting the Glorious White Race from 'Racism'." Cartoon. The Official Website of Cartoonist M. Rasheed 23 Oct 2020. Pen & ink w/Adobe Photoshop color.
Scott Macniven - This is really well done. Are you using Clip Studio Paint to do your work? Those line weights are on point! They almost look like traditional ink and quill.
Muhammad Rasheed - No, this is the Hunt Flexible Quill No. 108 with brush. I scan the drawings in to apply color in Photoshop.
Scott Macniven - Dude! That is tight art, how long have you been working with those tools? I know some pros that aren't on your level
Muhammad Rasheed - I first started using them back in Apr 2000 after I saw R. Crumb's demonstration in his Terry Zwigoff documentary. I needed affordable and reliable inking tools so I could start my Monsters 101 graphic novel series at the time. That little nib never let me down 1,500 pages later. Highly recommended.
I have old friends from art school who remain dedicated to Rapidographs and other tech pens, but those drove me crazy with their much higher maintenance levels.
Michael Grefe - I am not sure if I understand the message but artistically it is very well done.
MEDIUM: Scanned pen & ink cartoon drawing w/Adobe Photoshop color.
