Leo Romero - ???carbon 14 dating? test? Dunno. Kinda lost in this one.

Leo Romero - Also, lost of archeological artifacts and places are found by accident. Like the Nazca Lines o Machu Pichu.

Muhammad Rasheed - The problem is that everytime a new older site of remains is found, then they move back "the definitive" date of how old the species is, instead of just leaving that question open since they have zero idea and no way to truly confirm it one way or another.

Ross Graham - @Muhammad... They do leave the question open - they claim only what the available evidence suggests. It’s the scientific method. It will always change.

Muhammad Rasheed - Ross wrote: "They do leave the question open"

Not. Once.

What the scientific method describes and how scientists actually function in real life when they open their mouths, are two completely different things.

Ross Graham - See my above comment. I like your drawings, keep it up.

Junior L Ruiz - I agree with Ross, they basically say this is as far as we can prove.

Muhammad Rasheed - If only that were so. The ones you two know must be sooooo nice.

Muhammad Rasheed - They should teach a course.

Ross Graham - Out of curiosity, which scientists are you talking about? Do you have any examples of your claim?

Muhammad Rasheed - All of them except for the ones you and Junior know. The scientific community is very loose & free with their speech and are unfortunately not restrained by the obvious inherent, humbling limitations of the scientific method.

Ross Graham - Sadly this sounds like hyperbole - if you could provide any evidence of your claim I'd be more than happy to change my mind.

Muhammad Rasheed - Changing minds isn't the point of this cartoon. Even if it was, experience has shown that posting evidence doesn't move the minds of this group at all.

Ross Graham - What is the point of this cartoon if not to change minds?

Muhammad Rasheed - What's the point of any editorial cartoon?

lol Plus the crowd this cartoon is actually critiquing are the LAST ones to ever change their minds over a cartoon. hahaha

Ross Graham - Right. So which is the crowd whose minds you're hoping to change?

Muhammad Rasheed - "Changing minds isn't the point of this cartoon."

-_-

Muhammad Rasheed - See what I mean about how people act in this FB group? They can't pay attention from comment to comment even in the same thread...

Ross Graham - I see. I’m curious why you’re still engaging with “people” in this thread, that being the case?

Muhammad Rasheed - That's 100% where I get my cartoon ideas. ;)

Smile for the camera, please.

Ross Graham - Ah. Well, I can't say I agree with making fun of people for asking sincere questions, but I do enjoy your artwork nevertheless. Good luck with everything.

Muhammad Rasheed - Ross wrote: "Ah."

*nod*

If it makes you feel better, please note that the cartoon will be equally sincere.
