Anonymous - Why did slavery have to happen? Why couldn't we blacks just be equal with whites and accepted as soon as they saw us? Why did they make us hurt on the inside and out?

Other than a brief period during the earliest days of the Muslim world, slavery has always been among us. Similar to the practice of usury, slavery is also a destructive idea that sticks around for no other reason than because it is insanely lucrative, especially in the modern day. The great wealth of Western Civilization came directly from the chattel slave institution. Massive, obscene wealth concentrated in the hands of a dozen or so powerful legacy families is what keeps the slavery practices around.

The relationship between the two groups is far older than the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. In fact, when the Black people first built a relationship with the light-skinned peoples of Europe, it was as altruistic civilizers, teaching the Europeans the sciences and training them in the trades within a relationship dynamic that lasted for millennia. The still standing celebrated castles of Europe, for example, were built by the Blackamoors. The learned tribesmen of Europe held a great deal of awe and respect for the Black peoples in the pre-white supremacy era, but once the Europeans entered the global markets themselves, they had no issues taking part in the old slavery customs just as everyone else did, and enslaved outsiders as well as other Euro-ethnic groups. Many of the first Africans later brought over to the so-called New World, weren’t actually enslaved, but were under indentured servitude contracts just like many of the poor whites were.

The bad times began in the early 1600s, when the poor white peasants petitioned the white ruling class to protect them from ‘white slavery’ and the low, humiliating lifestyle they had known for millennia back in Europe, by proposing to delegate chattel slavery to the Black African “race” as a permanent bondsman class. In exchange, they promised to diligently manage the system on the ruling classes’ behalf. The deal was agreed upon, and what we know today as “racism” began.
