Ebae N'Jadaka - Y’all remember when Don Lemon said Kamala wasn’t African American.

[VIDEO] Kamala Harris Slams Those Questioning Her Identity As Sowing Hate And Division

Muhammad Rasheed - She is black. She's just not of the Black American descendants of slavery ethnic group that traditionally uses the "African-American" label.

Jay Mac - Yes. I don't believe she ever claimed to be ADOS, though. But she is black.

Muhammad Rasheed - The press keeps calling her the first "African-American" and the fact that she never corrects them is a form of pandering through passive ID theft.

[ARTICLE] It's not whether Kamala Harris is 'black enough,' critics say, but whether her policies will support native black Americans | The Inquirer

Jay Mac - I doubt if she's thinking that deep about "African American". If you're black and you were raised in the US, you will be labeled African American, black, Negro, etc., etc.

Muhammad Rasheed - Jay wrote: "I doubt if she's thinking that deep about 'African American.'"

That's an awfully naive comment considering the amount of potential wealth & power inherently attached to this VP political career move. The Biden/Harris ticket will NOT win without ADOS buy-in. Who doesn't know that?

The problem is that they want to exploit us of our potent political capital without giving us anything at all in return except for yet more impotent symbolism.
