Muhammad Rasheed - So, you're saying the people in Jackson MS and Flint MI aren't actually suffering; the dehydration and toxicity they are experiencing is really just brain synapse false imaginations and they should just get over it.

Ritch Von - @Muhammad... There has been a definite disconnect here. I posted this about how humans handle their internal anxiety narratives. Not sure how you got there bre but we all bring our own perspectives to interactions.

Muhammad Rasheed - It reads like Clay is saying that suffering isn't real and is only composed of dreams of consciousness within our memories and imaginations. I usually interpret such comments as diabolical deflections away from the very real sufferings born from 400 yrs of continuous systemic racism.

Your own "internal anxiety narratives" piece sounds much more subtle and nuanced than Clay's meme. Seems like you should have just typed your own version.

Ritch Von - Well, I mean you are free to retype whatever memes you would like on your page, but I've known Clay since I was in grade school. He is one of my oldest friends, so, while I can appreciate that you have your own perspective, I can safely say that I understood his perspective when he posted it. I assumed we were on a similar accord when I reposted it. I hadn't intended the post to be a Rorschach test of his or my values, but it seems like you are having a conversation I wasn't having when you responded.
