Keith Murrell

Mains-Ink Digital-Art - Totally agree!!!

Clifton Hatchett - Having prior knowledge of the history stymied my enjoyment.

Muhammad Rasheed - Smile for the camera.

Clifton Hatchett - @Muhammad... I knew this would be bothersome for you.

Keith Murrell - @Clifton... he probably didn't even watch it...🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

Clifton Hatchett - Under no circumstance.

Keith Murrell - dude probably got his eyes closed like this dude saying nope not gonna watch it....

Clifton Hatchett - To be fair, and accurate... The actual Dahomey were notorious Slave dealers.

Keith Murrell - I know they were that's why I was glad to see them talk about it in the movie often

Clifton Hatchett - The brutality with which they were reviled when selling, & murdering their skin folk was completely glossed over.

Keith Murrell - man I know that it's HOLLYWEIRD....🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

Muhammad Rasheed - Keith wrote: "he probably didn't even watch it..."

To be clear, my ideological enemies (both white & black immigrant) colluded to make a product that, as Clifton pointed out, glossed over the brutality with which they were reviled when they murdered & sold the ancestors of the Black American ethnic group(ADOS) to the European trading companies. And they tried to get us to pay them for it.

The dedicated anti-racism activists rightfully called for a boycott of the project, so anyone trying to make fun of me by saying I "didn't even watch it" in a mocking tone is not coming across the way they may think they are. It's the equivalent of telling Dr. King and the Civil Rights Era activists that they "didn't even ride the Montgomery Bus System" during that 1950s boycott.

Muhammad Rasheed - My people need to wake the f*ck up.
