bcrbuio3tvrbvt - I am pretty sure white allies in the media industry aren't trying to bring back visual racial stereotypes..
They might be bringing back stereotypes in the classroom but not in visual media.
Muhammad Rasheed - This was created in response to the general group consensus about old problematic toon imagery within an old school cartoons Facebook fan group I'm in. So, even though you think you are "pretty sure" about that, they sure sounded very different in their expression of the opinion. The obvious solution is that the term "ally" needs to be reexamined under the light of actual reality, instead of blind political indoctrination acceptance.
bcrbuio3tvrbvt - It's just a dumb facebook group, man. I doubt their ignorant echo chamber extends very far.
Muhammad Rasheed - This represented a sample of the general population's opinion. It's not realistic that ONLY the people in this particular FB Group thought that way. Skim through the comments of every problematic jim crow era cartoon posted throughout social media.
bcrbuio3tvrbvt - I'm skeptical, why're you so convinced its not realistic that you just stumbled into a toxic echo chamber?
Muhammad Rasheed - Because I've been having these discussions for many years and those opinions from my ideological foes repeat like a hive-mind over numerous platforms.
bcrbuio3tvrbvt - And there are numerous other platforms where that hivemind is absent. I know alot of people on reddit, twitter and facebook sound alike, doesn't mean they're a reflection of all society. There are other platforms.

This isn't subject matter that you follow in your normal interests. Why would you notice when it came up? It's generally your demographic's opinion that society in general shouldn't openly talk about racism so that it will magically vanish. Instead, they themselves follow Lee Atwater's coded language techniques to discuss it among their circles, and use a sloppy gas lighting tactic to pretend they weren't discussing it when called out.
